Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Arusha serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit and is located at the base of Mount Meru. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey and prepare for the safari ahead. Overnight at Summit Lodge, set within a tranquil garden environment on the outskirts of Arusha.

After breakfast, depart with your professional safari guide for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive from Arusha. Tarangire is renowned for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife drawn to the Tarangire River. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of bird species. The park offers excellent wildlife density, particularly during the dry season. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing toward the Ngorongoro/Serengeti transit area in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Njia Panda Camp, offering an authentic safari experience in a scenic highland setting.

After breakfast, proceed toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with scenic views over the crater highlands. Upon entering the Serengeti, begin a game drive en route to camp. The Serengeti’s vast open plains support one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Arrive in the late afternoon at Safari Haven for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Early morning hours offer excellent opportunities to observe predator activity, while the expansive plains provide outstanding photographic conditions. Your guide will track wildlife movements and adjust the route accordingly, maximizing your chances of memorable sightings. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush to allow extended game viewing time. Return to Safari Haven in the late afternoon for dinner and your second overnight in the Serengeti.

After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater, descending approximately 600 meters into this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater floor hosts an extraordinary density of wildlife within a compact ecosystem, offering strong chances to spot the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. You may also encounter hippos, flamingos, hyenas, elephants, and large herds of zebra and wildebeest.

A picnic lunch will be served at a designated site near a hippo pool before ascending in the afternoon.

Return to Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 5-day Northern Circuit budget safari.
