After breakfast in Arusha, depart with your group toward Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and diverse bird species concentrated along the Tarangire River. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, exit the park and proceed to the campsite in the Mto wa Mbu or Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with scenic views over the highlands. Upon entering the Serengeti, begin a game drive en route to your campsite. The Serengeti’s endless plains are home to abundant wildlife including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra. Seasonal migration movements may enhance your experience. Dinner and overnight at a public campsite inside the Serengeti.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife activity is typically high. Later in the day, depart the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying additional game viewing en route. The landscape gradually transitions from open plains to the lush crater highlands. Dinner and overnight at a campsite on the crater rim.

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor hosts one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife, offering strong chances to spot the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. You may also encounter hippos, lions, hyenas, elephants, flamingos, and large herds of zebra and wildebeest. After a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 4-day group camping safari.
