Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and recover from your journey. After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its impressive elephant populations and iconic baobab-dotted landscapes. During your game drive, you may encounter large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and diverse birdlife along the Tarangire River. The park’s varied terrain provides excellent photographic opportunities and rewarding wildlife density. Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti in depth. Early morning and late afternoon game drives offer prime opportunities to observe predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Large herds of wildebeest and zebra roam the plains, while elephants and buffalo are frequently seen. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, allowing extended wildlife viewing time. Return to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and your second overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and proceed toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend approximately 600 meters into this UNESCO World Heritage Site for a half-day game drive. The crater floor supports a dense concentration of wildlife and offers one of the best opportunities to spot the endangered black rhino. You may also encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and large herds of zebra and wildebeest.
